Recently Moustache Girl, our sweet 6 year old kitty, was diagnosed with intestinal cancer. She had been having episodes of vomiting, lethargy and she lost a lot of weight in a short period of time. My wife and I made the difficult decision to say goodbye and we preferred that this happen in the comfort of our own home and while she still had a little fire left in her. We called Dr. Jason Goodwin with Gentle Hands Cherished Paws and scheduled an appointment for the next morning. When Dr. Jason arrived he gently examined our sweet girl and went over the recent diagnostics performed by our regular veterinarian. We discussed how Moustache Girl had been doing and talked about our concerns for her quality of life and all agreed that this was the best decision for her. Dr. Jason then explained the process to us with his calm demeanor and wonderful bedside manner. We were very happy with the service that Dr. Jason provides and are grateful we got to say goodbye on our terms. We have 2 dogs and another cat and when the time comes Dr. Jason Goodwin with Gentle Hands Cherished Paws will be the first and only person we call. RIP Moustache Girl. We miss and love you always.
